Owner Gary Tanaka, whose stable of successful racehorses currently includes Grade 1-winning sprinter Pico Central, has been arrested and charged with using investors' money to purchase racehorses, according to reports from Bloomberg News and the Los Angeles Times.

この Gary Tanaka 氏は、金鯱賞に出る可能性があった Touch of Land の馬主でもあるし、Golden Apples 号のかつての所有者でもあった。
本人は容疑を否認しているようですが。
