聞き取りやすいと思いますけど、一応書き起こしておきますね。
Bomb. B-O-M-B. Bomb.
What rhymes with bomb? Tom. So we add a "T" T-O-M-B.
That's not Tom. That's tomb.
And if we add a "C" it doesn't rhyme with tomb, it's comb. C-O-M-B. Comb.
What rhymes with comb? Home. So we add an "H" H-O-M... That's not home. If we want "home" we have to add an "E"
And if we add an "S" it doesn't rhyme with home, that's some.
What rhymes with some? Numb. So we add an "N" N-O-M-E. Nu... No, that's not numb. If we want "numb" we have to add a "U" That's not numb. Gotta add a "B" also. N-U-M-B.
And if you think that's crazy, just remember that English spelling from "A" to "Z" is D-U-M-B.
Now, if we were like other languages, we spell dumb D-U-M, numb N-U-M, some S-U-M, home*1 H-U-M, and come C-U-M.
And if we want every Tom, Dick and Harry to be able to write and read, that's the only way it will ever be D-U-N*2.
